Terms of Service

These terms apply to every purchase made through tailtelier.com (the “site”). By placing an order, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully — because our keepsakes are made to order from your photos, the rules around cancellations and returns are a little different from off-the-shelf goods.

About us

Tailtelier handcrafts custom pet-portrait jewelry and keepsakes, engraved in solid metal from the photo you provide. We're based in Los Angeles and ship worldwide.

Placing an order

Product listings on the site are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. When you complete checkout, you submit a binding order for the items in your cart. Your contract with us is formed once we send an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for example, if an item is unavailable or a photo cannot be used (see below) — in which case any payment is refunded in full.

Prices and payment

• Prices are shown in US dollars. Any applicable taxes and shipping are displayed at checkout before you pay.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept the major cards and wallets Stripe supports, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
• We never see or store your full card details — they go directly to our payment processor.

Custom-made products

Every Tailtelier keepsake is personalized and made to order from the photo and engraving details you provide. Because each piece is produced uniquely for you, it cannot be resold, and the cancellation and return rules below reflect that.

Cancellations

You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it by emailing hello@tailtelier.com with your order number. After 24 hours, production of your custom piece begins and the order can no longer be cancelled.

Returns and refunds

Because our keepsakes are custom-made, they are exempt from standard change-of-mind returns. That said, we stand behind our craft:

• If your keepsake arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and we'll replace it or refund you.
• If we made an error — the wrong item, metal, or engraving from what you ordered — we'll put it right at no cost to you.
• We can't accept returns for change of mind, or for issues caused by an unclear or low-quality photo that was approved at checkout.

Shipping and delivery

Production typically takes 5–7 business days, after which your keepsake ships. Delivery times vary by destination and the shipping method chosen at checkout. Title and risk of loss pass to you once the order is handed to the carrier.

Your photos

By uploading a photo, you confirm that you own it or have the right to use it, and that it contains nothing unlawful, offensive, or unsuitable for engraving. We may decline to produce an order if a photo is unsuitable, and we use your photos only to create your keepsake (see our Privacy Policy).

Intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, images, logos, and designs — belongs to Tailtelier and may not be reproduced without our written permission. You keep all rights to the photos you upload.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or our products.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, and any disputes will be subject to the courts located there.
